Bed and Breakfast
To retain its old-world charm, the whole of the house is tastefully decorated in period style. We aim for a very high standard; from your initial welcome and throughout your visit.
In your individually furnished room, you will find such things as sherry and fruit on arrival, towelling robes, through to DVDs, magazines, books and even wine glasses and hot water bottles; there are also the usual tea and coffee, digital colour television and DVD player etc.
Each guest-room has a private bathroom for your exclusive use and you also have the use of a communal sitting room with a wood burning stove, newspaper and books. You are more than welcome to sit in the pretty and secluded gardens, which surround the house. Breakfast offers a wide choice from cereals and fresh fruit followed by dishes such as scrambled eggs on a toasted muffin, Continental, freshly baked croissants and of course the traditional English breakfast. Locally produced food is used wherever possible, including local free range eggs
Packed lunches can be provided for walkers by arrangement.
